Strategy
Developing a sustainability strategy sounds daunting. We make it simple. Our step-by-step process builds your strategy at a pace and level that’s right for you. We take the time to understand your business. Then we tailor our approach to match your needs, using our unique Sustainable Business Roadmap.
The result? A clear, compelling sustainability strategy, aligned with best practice and your ambitions.
Getting started
Our Action and Ambition workshop is the ideal starting point for your strategy. It draws on our experience of running 100+ workshops around the world, and is designed to educate leaders and identify ambitions.
In 2.5 hours, virtually or in person, we’ll help leaders from across your business understand…
- The world’s key issues
- The business case for tackling these
- What your competitors and customers are doing about them
- What level of ambition your business has
- What actions you’re already taking
If that sounds like a lot to cover, don’t worry, we’ll keep things engaging and fun, which is one reason why the workshop is so popular!
Assessing priorities
Sustainability is a BIG topic, so how do you make sure your time and efforts are focused on the areas where you can make the greatest impact?
One way we do it is through a ‘materiality assessment’. This analyses stakeholder feedback, third party research and more to determine the topics (e.g. diversity, biodiversity and nature, supplier relationships) which are most “material” to your business.
Our materiality assessment approach aligns fully with guidance from the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). It gives you a clear view of how a range of environmental, social, and governance topics could financially impact your business, as well as where your business can have a positive or negative impact.
Materiality a bit much for your business?
Ask us about a lighter touch approach for smaller businesses, based on data from our Support the Goals initiative.
