Volunteers will be involved in supporting research conducted on companies to see if they publicly communicate support the UN Sustainable Development Goals using a rating criteria created by TBL. The research and rating criteria covers 5 key topics (net zero, biodiversity, waste, gender equality, and living wage).

There are two avenues of research for volunteers to support on:

Supply chain research – a TBL service we offer our customers. We research their supply chains using the rating criteria to provide them detailed insight into their suppliers to encourage and support sustainability efforts. 

Benchmark research – annual research where we look at how the leading UK companies score against our rating criteria. it used as benchmark research for research reports we produce for customers and their suppliers.
